Brett Wright

Senior Pastor

Brett Wright is an ordained elder and fifth-generation member of the Church of the Nazarene.  He was born into a family who served evangelistically and locally to spread the saving message of Jesus Christ. At a young age, Brett received the gift of salvation at Vacation Bible School.  At 13 years old he answered the call to ministry, and at 15 he experienced the work of entire sanctification & continues to walk in the daily surrender to Christ.  While serving on the Kentucky District, Brett met his wife Taylor at District Assembly.  They have been married since June of 2020 and they have one precious son, Jed Parker Wright.  Brett's passion is to see all people come to the saving and sanctifying knowledge of Jesus, especially younger generations!

Neil Kyle

Youth/Associate Pastor

Neil Kyle was raised in the Nazarene Church by a loving, Godly family & began following Jesus at a young age.  He felt called to ministry in high school.  He followed that call to Trevecca Nazarene University where he obtained a degree in religion.  He met  his wife Stella there as well.  After graduation, they moved to Lexington to continue his studies and began serving at Lafayette Church of the Nazarene in 2020.  In 2024, he graduated from Asbury Seminary with a Masters of Divinity and is serving as the Associate and Youth Pastor at Lafayette.  God has blessed them with a precious baby girl, Selah Ann.

Elizabeth Hall

Childrens Director

Elizabeth Hall was raised at Lafayette Church of the Nazarene.  She has been the children's director since 2017.  Building relationships with families is the cornerstone to children's ministry. Her passion is seeing children come to know the Lord at a young age and to continue to follow and grow closer to Him.  She married Noah in 2021 and they had their son Uriah in 2023.

Kim Privett

Office Administrator

Kim Privett started attending Lafayette Church of the Nazarene in the fall of 1988 and has been a faithful member ever since. She was saved and sanctified in 1989 and met her husband David while attending a revival in Georgetown that same year. They were married in 1990 and had two sons, Corey and Matthew.  Kim volunteers in the church nursery and has served as a Bible quiz coach for the youth.  She has been the administrative assistant of Lafayette since February of 2022.
